A GREAT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello friends and family.

For those who follow my blog, I have a great announcement!  JOURNEY WITH GOD: A Compilation of Devotions and Prayers has been reduced from $11.99 to $4.81, which erases my profit, but I did not write this book with the intention of making money. For me, this is a ministry.

This book resulted from a 51-year journey with God and my desire to show others that God never fails us. He cares about every detail of our lives, and He has power to make a way where there appears to be no way. For real security and joy can only come in knowing God and His many wonderful ways in which He interacts and communicates with us. For that reason, I purchase books to always have for those occasions when God shows me that person who would benefit from my gifting of the book.

One example was when I was checking out at a Dollar Tree, and God put in my heart to go to my car and retrieve a copy of my book and give it to the cashier who checked me out. I did not know the woman and wondered if she would think I was forward and even crazy in telling her that I felt led by the Lord to give her the book.

I returned to the store with book in hand and waited for her to finish with her customers. I then approched her and said, “God put it on my heart to give you this book.” She looked at the cover and wrapped her arms around me and said, “This is an answer to prayer. I have been asking God to bring me encouragement and hope.” She later told me that the book had become a blessing and she was so very grateful that I had been obedient to the Lord’s nudging. For that reason, I ask that you prayerfully consider purchasing the book for yourself, a friend, or a family member who might need encouragement, hope — and in some instances, even a giggle.

PART SIX: LESSONS IN NATURE. My personal favorite is the “Fly Swatter” followed by “The Light.”

PART SEVEN: GOD’S METAPHORS FOR LIFE. A pastor purchased the book just to find out “Who’s Your Talking Donkey.”

PART EIGHT: MIRACLES BIG AND SMALL. These are accounts of small and big miracles that I have experienced with one of my favorites being an encounter with “The Widow.”
